ANTEMASQUE is an alternative rock project created by two long-time friends, Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala (At The Drive In , The Mars Volta ). In April 2014 the band's creation is announced, quickly 4 tracks are unveiled, ranging from progressive rock to punk rock, we also learn the release of a first eponymous album, in a digital version in the summer then physically in Autumn. This first essay received in a mixed way by critics, sees the participation of Flea ( Red Hot Chili Peppers ) in bass and Dave Elitch ( Miley Cyrus , The Mars Volta , Killer Be Killed ) in the drums, the first of the two only appearing in studio he is replaced live by Marfred Rodríguez-López (Zechs Marquise ).
