Biography
Apostle Of Solitude was formed in Indianapolis, USA, on the ashes of The Keep in 2004 around Chuck Brown (Guitare / Chant, The Gates Of Slumber), Corey Webb (Battery) and Brent Mclellan (Basse). Paul Miller (Guitare) joined shortly afterwards but left quickly, leaving for Justin Avery. 2005 saw the release of the band's first demo. After some time on the road and on the boards, the training exits an ep, Embraced By The Black, at the very end of 2006. The band's first album, Sincerest Misery , was finally released at the end of 2008 by Eyes Like Snow Records, Northern Silence Productions' Doom Metal branch. It is followed in 2010 by Last Sunrise, which has the heavy task of succeeding a record acclaimed as one of the best releases of the genre in ten years. After two splits in 2011 with Dawnrider and Rituals Of The Oak and The Flight Of Sleipnir, the band separated from Justin Avery and brought Steve Janiak (The Gates Of Slumber) to the guitar and singing.
