Apse
Biography
Apse discovered the world in 1999 in Connecticut, and committed himself in quintet to producing an atmospheric and tribal post-rock. Three self-produced EPs - and not found today - are born between 2001 and 2003, but serious things begin at the fourth EP, released on the label Madrilène Acuarela Discos in 2005. Their music, experimental and atypical within an overloaded post-rock scene, will then be noticed, which will prompt the Americans to release a first album the following year, the well-named Spirit , on the same Spanish label, and later at ATP Recordings. Apse then gave birth to a limited edition vinyl at Equation Records, named Eras, and then a second album, Climb Up on ATP, both in 2009. After a few tours the band will eventually go out in 2011, and two of its members will form a new trip-hop project called ERAAS.
