Archers And Arrows

Archers And Arrows was trained at the end of 2008 on the ashes of various formations of the Lemanic Arc (Lausanne, Vevey, Sion) by 4 guys attracted to the current punk scenes of Chicago, Brooklyn and Gainesville. They begin by performing on the scenes of the Riviera and Valais regions where they make talk about them. The year 2010 marks a turning point for the band with the release of a first 5 titles on Swiss labels Shattered Thought Records and Sums Records. The title "The Young Carpetbaggers" is chosen by the Danish label 5 Feet Under Records to appear on its annual compilation together with bands like Stars Burn Stripes, We Will Fly, Mighty Midgets, or Antillective. Taking advantage of the attraction created by this first essay, the band shares the scene with names from the international punk rock scene such as Burning Heads, Dead To Me, Venerea or Promethee. The band is working on a split with Bottle Knowledge (punk rock, Switzerland) and an album by the end of 2011. Meanwhile, in January 2011 they are on tour in France and Switzerland with Face The Front (Punk rock, Switzerland).
