Army Of The Pharaohs

Army Of The Pharaohs is a Philadelphia hip hop band formed by Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks in 1998. The first version consists of 5 MCs: Vinnie Paz, Chief Kamachi , 7L&Esoteric , Trip C and Bahamadia , and recorded a first Ep The Five Perfect Exercises the year of its creation. The 2 songs that make up this first jet will be remixed on Jedi Mind Tricks' Violent By Design album.
The real return of Army Of The Pharaohs takes place in 2005, in a new form: Vinnie Paz, Kamachi, 7L & Esoteric, Outerspace, Apathy, Celph Titled, Reef the Lost Cauze, Des Devious, Faez One and King Syze. The first album The Torture Papers was released in 2006 and is in the top 50 American inde albums. A bootleg version circulates on the internet, called The Bonus Papers, and consists of songs not retained for the final version of the album. Two years later, the collective released its second album Ritual Of Battle, while recruiting Jus Allah by Jedi Mind Tricks, Doap Nixon, Demoz and King Magnetic. Apathy didn't appear on the opus, preparing her solo album.
