Ashes Divide

Ashes Divide is the solo project of guitarist Billy Howerdel, already founder of the band A Perfect Circle, born thanks to the encouragement of Maynard James Keenan ( Tool , A Perfect Circle , Puscifer ) and Danny Lohner aka Renholder ( NIN , A Perfect Circle , Black Light Burns ). Like Nine Inch Nails, Howerdel is the only constant in the band. After the release of the first single, The Stone, in January 2008, the album Keep Telling Myself It's Right was released on April 8, where many artists appeared, including Paz Lenchantin ( A Perfect Circle , Zwan ), Johnette Napolitano ( Concrete Blonde ), the unbeatable Josh Freese ( The Vandals , A Perfect Circle , Nine Inch Nails , Black Light Burns ), the 13-year-old violaloncellist, Devo Keenan (son of Maynard) and obviously Danny Lohner. Billy Howerdel also reveals the composition of the touring line-up, Jeff Friedl on drums ( Miscalculated Dance Moves), Matt McJunkins on bass ('Tis), Andy Gerold on guitar lead (Daughters Of Mara) and Adam Monroe on piano/keyboards (known on Youtube.com for his remix of songs by Tool and other bands). Ashes Divide will participate in the Projekt Revolution 2008 Tour with Linkin Park, Chris Cornell and The Bravery.
