Ashes Of Ares

Ashes Of Ares is an American group of Heavy / Power Metal founded in 2012 by the two former Iced Earth Matt Barlow (song) and Freddie Vidales (guitar / bass). They were joined by the former Nevermore Van Williams (battery) and quickly signed with Nuclear Blast Records for the release of an eponymous debut album in 2013. Later that year, they toured Europe with Powerwolf and Battle Beast. Later, there was no much talk about them, until 2017 when it was announced that Williams was no longer part of the training but that a second opus was in preparation. We must wait until November 2018 to see Well Of Souls released on the Greek label Rock Of Angels Records.
