Astrosoniq

Astrosoniq is a group formed in Oss (Netherlands) in 1999. Influenced by the great names of hard rock 70s such as Black Sabbath , Led Zeppelin , Thin Lizzy , Kiss , Funkadelic and Hawkwind ; The group is organized around Marcel Van De Vondervoort (battery), Ron Van Herpen (guitars), Erik De Vocht (bass), Fred Van Bergen (sing), and Daan (claviers). The following year, Astrosoniq delivered his first EP: Son Of A.P Lady . Dutch people are starting to build a solid reputation, allowing them to open up for sizes like Monster Magnet, QOTSA, Dozer, Ufomammut, The Gathering, Danko Jones, and participate in prestigious festivals like the Roadburn. The band made a return noticed in 2002 with Soundgrenade, strongly praised by the critic, and handed over the cover two years later with Made In Oss. Now equipped with their own recording studio, the Torture Garden, the Astrosoniq take all their time to develop their third album which will be released in March 2006: Speeder People.
