Attica! Attica! is named after a famous scene from the movie Dog Day Afternoon, in which Al Pacino screams Attica! Attica! in reference to a no less famous riot in 1971 at Attica Prison, New York.
After the separation of Marathon in 2006, Aaron Scott (singer of the band) decided to travel and took advantage of it to write songs (while Nate and Emmet formed Polar Bear Club). Back home he recorded his first album with the help of Chris Antal, an album that will be released at Red Leader Records ( Polar Bear Club) in the course of 2007.
Reached with tendinites on both wrists that prevented him from playing Aaron surrounds himself with several of his close friends (including Chris) so as to form a band proper so that he can turn and continue his journey.
