Audrey

Audrey is a 4-piece female figure composed of Victoria Skoglund (guitars, vocals), Anna Tomlin (battery, vocals), Emelie Molin (cello, keyboards, vocals) and Rebecka Krsitiansson (bass, vocals) and formed in 2002 on the side of Gothenburg, Sweden. The band began to shoot the same year and recorded a demo in 2003, 500 of which went on tour.
A blend of sweet pop rock and melancholic slowcore, the nostalgia of Audrey's melodies directly refers to the grey daily life of their city and the disrepair of their studio where their first rehearsals take place. The group's first LP, Visible Forms , came into being in 2006 and made it known abroad. The confirmation takes place two years later when The Fierce and the Longing (at Tenderversion Recordings, like his predecessor), the quartet refining his own sound and the four young women do not hesitate, in turn, to take the microphone in their pieces.
