Babymetal

Babymetal is a band composed of three Japanese dancers, what are called idols there. The project was created by a talented agency called Amuse Inc., which identified young girls who were part of a collective called Sakura Gakuin and who organized children's cultural activities. Sakura Gakuin's production company was already focusing on this internationally ambitious project. They have therefore called on musicians who work at home to compose heavy metal and to blackmail and dance idols on them by making them wear outfits halfway between tradition and visual rock. The band started in 2010 by making themselves known in Japan and then toured the following year in Europe and the USA. The first international album was released in 2014. The second Metal Resistance (nothing to do with the one in the oven) sees the light in 2016 and then Metal Galaxy will be published in 2019. Although live albums, bootlegs, compilations and bluray are released every semester at Japan, a single 10 years of Babymetal compilation will be released internationally in 2020.
