Barishi
Biography
Barishi was trained by Graham Brooks (Guitare) and his friends from Dylan Blake (Battery) high school and Jonathan Kelley (Basse) in 2010, first known as Atlatl . Joined by singer Sascha Simms in 2012, they are renamed Barishi . This is how they compose four of their first eponymous album that appeared in 2013, and then the ep Endless Howl in 2015. A second opus, Blood From The Lion's Mouth, appeared in 2016 at Season Of Mist and revealed more widely their mixture of Progressive Metal which draws as much towards the Sludge / Doom as towards Black Metal or psychedelic elements. Sascha Simms left the formation in 2017, but Graham Brooks joined the band and Barishi continued as a trio. Old Smoke released in 2020, still at Season Of Mist.
