Barnett Coloccia

It was in 2003, during a trip to Chicago, that Faith Coloccia ( Everlovely Lightningheart , Mamiffer , Mare ) met Alex Barnett ( Oakeater , Champagne Mirrors ). Despite the geographical distance (Faith lives and works mainly in the state of Washington), the two friends cross their musical intuitions for the best and frequently participate in the projects of the other. And vice versa. Nevertheless, they did carry out their artistic research and, on the Blackest Ever Black label, released a first Lp in 2013 (Retrieval), followed by the already very successful Weld (in 2015). In 2019, Barnett + Coloccia signed at Sige Records and, in February, released a third album, entitled VLF, which continues to investigate a musical path somewhere between the electro-noise and the experimental atmosphere...
