Basement

Basement is far from being a very young group, the group formed in 1996 following the impulse given by groups like Unsane, Fugazi, Copt Shoot Cop, Pony, ... A first CD 6 tracks, Head-On , recorded by Fred Norguet ( Sleeppers , Ez3kiel , ...) see day early 1997. The band began the tour of theatres and festivals and again recorded a new CD at Fred Norguet in 1998: Underneath allowing the band to make this a name within the French (and European) noise scene that would premert them as a defendant for two years on stage. Since more news of the four; Yet in 2006 the band returned with a new album under the arm: Everything Gets Distorted; with the sound this time we find Nicolas Dick by Kill The Thrill (and a cover by Jean-Michel Gimenez de Tantrum). Evolved in a noisey universe, a somewhat sparse scene these days, the group makes its way and cares little about the modes: so much the better.
