Battle Beast

Battle Beast comes from southern Finland and represents the traditional sound of Heavy and Power-Metal. Founded in 2008 by Eero Sipilä (Basse / Chant), Pyry Vikki (Batterie), Juuso Soinio (Guitare), Anton Kabanen (Guitare / Chant), Janne Björkroth (Claviers) and Nitte Valo (Chant), the band is noted two years later by winning the Metal Battle Contest of the Wacken Open Air 2010. This allows them to sign a contract with Hype Records to produce their first album, Steel, entirely dedicated to Metal with titles like Enter The Metal World or Justice And Metal. The album appeared in 2011 and attracted the attention of Nuclear Blast Records, which reissued it the following year with a bonus song. A European tour is then launched with Nightwish for the Imaginaerum European Tour in 2012, but in September, singer Nitte leaves Battle Beast and Noora Louhimo replaces her to ensure the first parts of Sonata Arctica's tour. Very quickly, a new album is on its way and is still released in 2013 at Nuclear Blast Records, then two years later Unholy Savior is born on the same label while Anton Kabanen leaves Battle Beast shortly afterwards.
