Battle Of Britain Memorial

Battle of Britain Memorial formed in April 2009 by the common envy of three buddies (Paul with guitars, Ludo with singing and Vincent with drums) to make just music together. Some compositions emerge quickly but it is only when Rémi (bass) arrives in October 2009 that the group finds its identity. Driven by common influences, ranging from post-rock (Mogwai , Explosions in the Sky ...) to screamo (Envy , Impure Wilhelmina ...) and post-hardcore (Neurosis , Cult of Luna . ...), the band quickly set up a live set and participated in the springboard of the Assaut Musical, which he won in May 2010. BOBM made about ten dates in the Touloussaine region in 2010, alongside bands such as Time To Burn, Selenites, When Icarus Falls or Robot Orchestra. A first album was recorded in summer 2010 by Jérémie Mazan (guitarist of Nephalokia) and released on May 6, 2011, the evening of their return to Toulouse alongside Nephalokia. The Aftermath of Your BrightBeings is a concept album that brings together the band's first compositions, with new songs already in progress.
