Beirut5

Beirut5 is a Japanese trio of Osaka including Shigeru Ohshima (song and guitar), Yuhei Onodera (bass), and Shinpei Kobayashi (battery). Like the very personal post-emo of their Black Film Dance compratriotes, the band produces a very special sound oscillating between vindicative punk rock, electro, industrial and even disco. After 2 demos and a split album with Bery Neck, Beirut5 managed to release its first album in 2004: A Machinic Exodus. On the move, a split album with Flash Light Experience is in preparation.
