Beyond Fear

Beyond Fear is first and foremost Tim's band "Ripper" Owens, known for replacing Rob Halford in Judas Priest, a cult band of the NWOBHM alongside Black Sabbath and Diamond Head. With Priest he recorded Jugulator and Demolition before Halford returned. The Ripper then left for Iced Earth. Owens founded Beyond Fear in March 2005, encircling a beautiful world: the 13-face soloist John Comprix, Missing Skin's ryhtmic guitarist Dawne Bihary, Seven Witches bassist Denis Hayes, and Iced Earth drummer Bobby Jarzombek, soon after replaced by Eric Elkins of All Your Fear. The quintet recorded a first demo in April before signing in August at SPV to release an eponymous debut album in April 2006.
