Big Brave

It was in Montreal, Quebec, in 2012 that the Big trio was formed. Initially practicing a minimalist folk, the group quickly changed course to venture into the slow saturations of the experimental doom. Big│Brave has assumed since its beginning the singularity of playing with two guitars, a drum but no bass.
After a first LP, Feral Verdure , self-produced (2014), the trio signed with Southern Lord for the release of his second album, Au De La , in 2015. A first European tour followed and numerous dates in support of Sunn O)) ) .
With this growing success, Robin Wattie (guitars and vocals), Mathieu Bernard Ball (guitars) and Louis-Alexandre Beauregard (drums) will be released on September 15, 2017, at Southern Lord, their third LP, titled Ardor .
A European tour is planned in the autumn...The band's fourth album, A Gaze Among Them , is announced in May 2019.
