Birds Of Passage is the stage name Alicia Merz, New Zealand artist, with poetic song-writing and haunted folk, which Denovali had the ingenious idea of enrolling in his catalogue. Without The World was released in 2011, via the German label, each time accompanied by a poem collection written by the musician: A Garden Of Secrets. It was also the same year that she released two albums in the wake, Winter Lady, and Dear And Unfamiliar in collaboration with Leonardo Rosado. In 2013 Birds Of Passage released a split with Je suis Le Petit Chevalier , Motion Sickness Of Time Travel and Aloonaluna under the name Taxidermy Of Unicorns and the following year This Kindly Slumber , still at Denovali. The musician is more discreet for a while before returning in 2018 with The Death Of Our Invention.
