Birdy Nam Nam

Birdy Nam Nam was born from the meeting of 4 talented DJs whose collection of titles has enough to leave pantois. Generation shock, between Crazy B (Alliance Ethnik ), one of the very first Hip-hop DJs in France, sacred champion of France for years, DJ Pone, officiating with the punks of the Svinkels, also titled on numerous occasions, and the rendezvous embodied by DJ Need and LilMike , two revelations of the late 90s, the group came from the Scratch Aktion Hiro , team created to win the World Team Championships (objective achieved in 2000). After smearing the clubs, for demonstrations and colorful mixes, the band decided in 2004, after a signature on the KIF label, to record the result of its jam sessions on its first album, after two highly noticed maxims. Birdy Nam Nam offers a tasty blend of influences in the form of trip-hop, entirely made with Deejay material (excluding samplers). The music of the band breaks the standards of DJing, to offer real songs composed and sought after in a constant aesthetic objective. This first eponymous album, released in 2005, thanks to its concept and quality, makes the band very quickly known to the general public, and the quality of its shows, with a very visual aspect, sits this sudden notoriety among people not necessarily having a hip-hop culture.
