Biography

Dutch trio Birth of Joy mainly draws its influences from the psyched rock of the 60s-70s, but also from the stoner and rock'n'roll, it was formed in 2005 by Kevin Stunnenberg, Bob Hogenelst and Gertjan Gutman at the Herman Brood Academy in Utrech, their name is inspired by The Birth of Tragedy by Nietzsche.
