Bisbaye

Bisbayé was trained in Montreal in November 2004 by guitarist and composer Jean-Pierre Larouche. Bisbaye delivers instrumental and iterative music with complex polyrhythms that integrate improvisation with dense sound masses. Bisbaye also breaks the metal frame by including open sections, experimental improvisations and random tempo variations. Influenced by bands like Don Caballero , Meshuggah or The Ex , Bisbayé self-produced a first demo, I , in August 2005, and made his debut on stage on 19 October 2005 at La Casa Del Popolo in Montreal. In 2007, Bisbayé repeated with II and sought a label for his future recordings.
