Bishop (or even xBishopx) is a hardcore band that formed in Florida in 2004 around singer Pete Kowalsky and guitarist Sam Kooby, both from the metalcore band Remembering Never. In search of a musical project allowing them to highlight their straight-edge values they then record a demo 4 tracks under the surname xDiary of a Corpsex, which will emerge in 2007 in the form of a 7" titled Bless the Dead. During 2005, the combo changed its name to Bishop and signed a deal with Ferret Recordings. This label will take care of the release of the first Floridian album in 2006: Suicide Party. In 2007, frontman Pete Kowalsky decided to set up his own Dead Truth Recordings label with which he published a split Bishop - The Red Baron. Rumors of hiatus or separation then begin to circulate but will be denied at the end of 2008 with the release of a new album, Drugs , again at Dead Truth. At the beginning of 2009, the band embarks with their xKingdomx friends for a first European tour.
