Biography
Bishop Of Hexen is a Black-Metal Symphony band from Ramat-Hasharon in Israel. Created in 1994 and after a few line-up changes, the new mill then consists of Balzamon (Chant), Lord Velkaarn (Guitare), The Bene Gesserit (Bass / Chant), Dimrost (Claviers) and Prof. Van-Helsing (Battery) is working on a demo, Ancient Hymns Of Legends&Lore, which appeared in 1996. The latter perceives good echoes in the underground press and sells all 450 copies. A large number of labels show interest in signing Bishop Of Hexen what is finally done later this year at HammerHeart Productions. Based on ancient legends, nightmare tales or sorcerers, Archives Of An Enchanted Philosophy was released in 1997 to confirm the potential of Israelis. Yet it is the blackout for seven years for dark reasons. It is then necessary to wait until the end of 2003 for Bishop Of Hexen to resurface with two new members on board: Lord Koder to sing and Ariel.E to guitar. In 2004 the combo of Black Metal Symphony recorded a promo disc composed of four songs that would serve as the first fruits of the future album. The following year Seelenfolter took up the position of bassist and CPC Records showed interest in distributing Bishop Of Hexen's second opus. The Nightmarish Compositions was released in 2006 and is highly appreciated by fans of the genre.
