Bitter Frost

Christopher Erikson grew up near Stockholm and was fed to Metal at an early age, notably with Yngwie Malmsteen, from whom he inspired himself to play guitar. After several years of training, he moved to the United States to set up a group. Unfortunately the musicians' auditions are not conclusive and he decides to do everything himself. He still meets Stacey Rugley with whom he shares common influences including Emperor and Windir and starts working with him. The goal is then to play an extreme and melodic Metal, but there are many disagreements and Christopher finds himself alone aboard Bitter Frost. It will take six years for the musician to record himself in his studio to be satisfied with his compositions and to release an eponymous debut album in 2010.
