Biography

Black Diamond Heavy comes from Nashville, Tennessee. John Mesley Myers, better known as James Leg (Claviers / Chant), Van Campbell (Battery) and Mark Holder (Guitare / Harmonica) play a dirty Blues-Rock, deglined and deeply influenced by Punk energy. The trio began to shoot in 2004 and recorded a first ep, You Damn Right, in 2005. Mark Holder leaves shortly after the band. The duo continues the adventure by making concerts even more crude and intense than before. They signed with Alive Records (Left Lane Cruiser) for their first album, Every Damn Time, which appeared in 2007, quickly followed the following year by A Touch Of Someone Else's Class produced by Dan Auerbach from The Black Keys. The energy of the songs feeling even better on the live stage, Black Diamond Heavies shoots a lot and records one of his concerts in 2009 which appeared the same year as Alive As Fuck. In 2011 James Leg started solo and released Solitary Pleasure at Alive Records.
