Black Star Riders

When Thin Lizzy's last line-up live decided that it was finally time to release a new album, they also decided to change their name, out of respect for the late Phil Lynott, mythical leader of the Irish band. Darren Wharton (keyboard) and Brian Downey (battery) didn't feel like going back on the roads with a new band, it was around Scott Gorham, the historic guitarist of Thin Lizzy (who he had joined since 1974) that this super band went up: Damon Johnson (Alice Cooper , Brother Cane ) on guitar, Ricky Warwick (The Almighty ) on singing and rhythm guitar, Marco Mendoza (Ted Nugent , Whitesnake ) on bass, and Jimmy DeGrasso ( Megadeth , Suicidal Tendencies , Alice Cooper ...) on drums. Named after the name of the outlaw band in Tombstone, it was in May 2013 that Black Star Riders released his first album at Nuclear Blast, All Hell Breaks Loose , before the band played many festivals and toured the world.
