Blacklodge
Biography
Blacklodge is an industrial black metal band born in 1998 in Villard-De-Lans created by Saint Vincent (Chant / Guitar / Battery - Merrimack , Vorkreist ). Blacklodge stands out from the traditional scene by using a rhythm box and electronic sounds. The satanic themes are also personified through the use of narcotics and an industrial aesthetic. Saint Vincent first worked alone on a demo, Innercells, and on the ep Prince Of Dark Cellars, which appeared in 1999. In the same year, he joined the services of Diam's (Basse - Faust , Sentinel ) and Silence (Guitare - Aluk Todolo , Forbidden Site , Faust ). Helio Gabale (Claviers - Aluk Todolo ) made a brief appearance in the band that year, but it was in the form of a trio that Blacklodge recorded the demo Login: Satan in 2001. In 2002, Diam's was replaced by Acijess (Basse - Outward Ceremony) and the final version of Login: Satan , appeared in 2003 at Blazing Productions. The album is controversial as much musically as the themes addressed, but this allows Blacklodge to play first part of Aborym. In 2006, >Solarkult< , released at End All Life Productions, pushed the concept even further with improved production. A year later, Narcotic replaced Silence to work on the album T/Me that appeared in 2010. Two years later Blacklodge signed with Season Of Mist to release Machination in 2012.
