Blizzard At Sea

Blizzard At Sea is a trio of Progressive Metal / Sludge / Post-Metal from Iowa City created in 2010. The band released its first EP in 2010 ( Invariance ). Impressive by its realism and the power of its compositions, the trio released its first studio album Individuation in 2012. Once again, the power of their gluttonous and intelligent sludge, far from the flagship productions of the genre impresses: a work of composition that forces respect, a wall of dense sound served by a ubiquitous bass fuzz and a stifling guitar that will never stop getting drunk. Their third studio album was released in 2016, thanks to a crowdfunding campaign. The opportunity also to change line-up with the arrival of Rachel Bjerke on bass and Martin Murray on guitar.
