
Blockheads
Biography
Blockheads was born in Nancy in 1992. In 1993, the band released a demo entitled Haaashaastaak, which was followed two years later by the first album Last Tribes. We have to wait until 1998 and a few line up changes for Blockheads to record Watch Out. Both self-produced, these two cakes will be combined in one on From Womb To Genocide published in 2000 by the label Bones Brigade on which will also be released Human Parade. In the meantime, Blockheads has increased concerts and participated in festivals such as the Fuck The Commerce in 2002, the Bloodsheld or the Fury Fest in 2003. In 2006, the Haitians joined the label Overcome Records for the release of their fourth album Shapes Of Misery. The band is still gaining in fame and shooting throughout Europe. This will be followed by a live self-produced DVD called Grindcore Overdose released in 2010. Finally in 2012, Blockheads signed Relapse Records for the release of its new album: This World Is Dead , released in early 2013.
