Biography

Death metal project composed of guitarist Tchort ( Emperor , bass appearances in Carpathian Forest ) and Død (Daniel Olaisen, Scariot ), Blood Red Throne comes from the friendly harbour town of Kristiansand, Norway. After recruiting Freddy Bolsø to the drums and Erlend Caspersen to the bass, the group was ready to fight. After a first demo in 2000 that culminated in a signature at Hammerheart Records and a first album, Monuments Of Death, in 2001, drummer Bolsø left the ship, and BRT recruited Espen Blood Red Throne will release Affiliated With The Suffering in 2003, their latest album in collaboration with Hammerheart Records. Blood Red Throne's death metal is both a tribute to the death old school and an outlet against extremist Christian practices. The compositions of the group are dense and full of riffs and solo assassins, the vocals making a nice part to the guttural/scream duality. After a few tours in Europe, Norwegians returned to the studio and released Altered Genesis in 2005 at Earache Records. BRT changes drummer again for Anders Haave, who will participate in new shows of the band across Europe. In 2007 Come Death came out, which finished making Blood Red Throne's brutal and dark fame, and in 2009 released Souls Of Damnation, accompanied by a DVD to celebrate the band's 10 years career. 2011 sees the band's latest album see the light: Brutalitarian Regime, in the continuity of the discography of Blood Red Throne.
