Blueneck
Biography
Blueneck is an English post-rock band formed in 2000. Inspired by the surrounding landscapes to make its music, the quintet evolves in a style close to Gregor Samsa, The Pirate Ship Quintet, Laura or Sigur Ros. Duncan Attwood (Guitare / Claviers / Chant), Richard Sadler (Guitare), Ben Green (Guitare), Ben Paget (Basse) and Johnny Horswell (Battery) released their first album, Scars Of The Midwest , in 2006 after more than a year and a half gestation. A dark and oppressive first record that gave rise to a sequel, The Fallen Host three years later released by Denovali Records. In 2011, Blueneck's line-up was somewhat redesigned with the arrival of Chris Copsey (Battery) and Timothy Leeson (Guitare), replacing Johnny and Ben Green. The English then compose their new album called Repetitions, which is released once again by Denovali Records. The following year, the group concluded its quadrilogy with Epilogue .
