Blues Pills
Biography
Blues Pills is one of those bands that re-visited the 60s Heavy Rock a bit like Witchcraft, Graveyard or Kadavar. Founded in 2011 by the rhythmic section of Radio Moscow, Zack Anderson (Basse) and Cory Berry (Batterie) are surrounded by Swedish singer Elin Larsson and French guitarist Dorian Sorriaux. Very quickly, the band recorded an ep Bliss that arrived at the ears of Nuclear Blast Records, decidedly very popular with this genre of retro Rock. The German label signs them for the release of the ep Devil Man in 2013. Blues Pills then made a name quickly in the middle and realized the hopes placed in him with a first eponymous record released in 2014 at Nuclear Blast Records. André Kvarnström replaced Corry shortly after behind the drums. The band toured extensively, alone or with bands like The Vintage Caravan, Jex Thoth, Truckfighters and performed at Hellfest 2014. In 2016, Blues Pills moved to more Pop and Soul tones with her second album Lady In Gold. This followed a tour with Kadavar.
