
Bongripper
Biography
Bongripper was founded in Chicago in 2005 by Dennis Pleckham, Nick Dellacroce (Guitares), Ronald Petzke (Basse) and Daniel O'Connor (Battery). From the beginning, the Americans practiced a Doom/Stoner/Sludge which extended on a single track of almost 80min on their first album: The Great Barrier Reefer in 2006. In 2007, Bongripper released two albums Hippie Killer in the continuity of the first but also Heroin, delire Noise / Drone sold in a special edition "Heroin Kit" with its injection equipment. 2008 is also a productive year since the combo comes out Hate Ashbury and collaborates with Winters In Osaka, a Chicago Noise group to deliver Meat Ditch. Two years later, Bongripper returned with his most accomplished album: Satan Worshipping Doom, which allowed him to open the doors of the Roadburn 2012. The following year the quartet collaborated with Hate and Conan for two splits and book Miserable in 2014 via the Burning World Records label.
