Biography
Wyatt Culbertson - singing, bass Will Kinser - guitar, song Josh Carman - drums
Born/Dead, formed in Oakland, was formed in his early days by Bill Jackson (battery) and Wyatt Culbertson (chant, bass), both former Chemical Imbalance , and Will Kinser of No Options , an ephemeral band that will split after the death of Chad W. Rickley. As a tribute, all the skeuds of Born/Dead are dedicated to his memory and the group sets include at least one No Options title. Born/Dead recorded his first ep 24 Hostages on No Options Records, Will Kinser's label, in 2001, after scouring the entire San Francisco Bay. Prank Records offers her the opportunity to release a full length in 2003. With Our Darkest Fears Now Haunt Us, Born/Dead embarks on a first major US tour that will be followed by a new studio session for recording a split alongside Consume. Californians then left for Europe for five weeks. In 2004, Jackson left the band to focus on his other Strung Up band. He was replaced by Josh Carman. Born/Dead recorded a few new titles that were released on an ep ephemeral journey to the States and Europe. In 2006, the band embarked on a West Coast tour with The Subhumans and World Inferno Friendship Society. For 2007, Born/Dead is due to release its new album The Final Collapse at Prank Records.
