After passages of a few years in illustrious texan punk bands, the five of Born to Lose met in Austin in 2000 to write and especially play music in accordance with their common influences (down a few hectolitres of beer doing so). Their first three releases ( Dreams Die Fast , Our World 7" and Blessed Days ) are self-produced and their concerts remain regional, but in 2005 they decided to make the band a priority and export to various southern and mid-west states before making the first parts of Murphy's Law or US Bombs in 2006, following their signature at Sailor's Grave (USA) and People Like You (Europe). Their third galette, Sweet Misery , is in the bins on April 17 in Europe and May 27 in the USA, meeting a significant and relatively new success for its bar pillars. After foaming the mousses in the United States, they landed in Europe in February/March 2007 (with a first visit to Paris) and even came back to pay a tour in May (again in Paris), just after the release of Old Scars, record stuffs everything with old titles, B faces and new composition.
