Broilers
Biography
Chris : Organ and Piano Ronald : Guitar Ines : Bass Andy : Battery Sammy : Song/Guitare
It is a very common story, which brings together Andy and Sammy in the south of Düsseldorf in 1992: a common passion for angry music, whether engaged or not by Clash, Sex Pistols or other local heroes of Die Toten Hosen. This was at the beginning only a temporary musical adventure like so many others, continued, and then developed with the arrival of Ines at bass. The ambition grew as the group evolved, then became concrete in 1996 with the release of a first 45t meeting the sweet name "Ich Schenk dir eine Blume". Starting from simplistic music, the formation finds its rise in unexpected pluralism, brewing styles as varied as Punk, Oi! or Rockabilly, now quintet, echoes with an audience as varied as its influences. The barrier of the German language, however, does not help, their popularity failing to stop at the borders of their country, will only grow with specialized listeners and distros. After various LP productions like EP releases regularly, Broilers finally gave himself, in 2007, the means to export by signing at the excellent label... German... People Like You Records . A first exquisite release with Broilers Vanitas, was followed in 2008 by an interesting and revealing EP Ruby Light & Dark.
