Biography

Buck Wild trained in 1995 around Shawn Dewey (ex guitarist of Lagwagon he was still at the time of the formation of Buck Wild) and Dave, one of his buddies who had just had a drums. Shawn sang in addition to the guitar and the 2 acolytes gathered a few local musicians to form the band... They recorded Lobster Records' first cd (which was in fact an EP ndlr) and then a second album in 1996: Beat silly me. Shawn left Lagwagon and Fat Mike (NOFX singer/guitarist and Fat Wreck Chords boss, Lagwagon label) helped with the distribution of Beat me silly. In 1997, a tour was also organized in Europe with Good Riddance (Fat Wreck Chords); Then another, this time with Ten Foot Pole in spring 2000 after the release of Full metal overdrive, their second cd. Back from the tour, each released the pressure and left Buck Wild aside. Today members are mechanic, electronic circuit builder, DJ for Lobster Records punk radio... But the band's adventure is not over, and the musicians don't lose sight of Buck Wild!
