Biography
Cairiss is a Black Metal Atmopsheric band from Southampton, England, founded in 2013 by Freya-Jane Brown (Chant), Connor Frapwell (Battery), Ethan Bishop (Guitare) and Chris Gilgan (Basse). In line with bands like Alcest , Agalloch or Wolves In The Throne Room , Cairiss released a first demo called Disgraced in 2014. After a few changes of line-up, James Messenger (Claviers) arrived, who only remained a year in the formation, Chris' departure, replaced by Sam Weston on bass, and a second guitarist, Martin Williams in 2016. The now quintet composes a first ep three titles, Fall , which released in self-production in 2016.
