Cancel The Apocalypse
Biography
Cancel The Apocalypse was born from the meeting between musicians from the Toulouse metal/hardcore scene and Bordeaux classical musicians. An ambitious meeting, with on the one hand, the voice of Matthew Miegeville ( My Own Private Alaska , Psykup , The Black Painters ) and the drums of Jérémy Cazorla for the studio ( Shake Us ) and Hélios Mikhail ( Meredith Huner ) for the live. On the other hand, classical guitarist Arnaud Barat and cellist Audrey Paquet ( Trio Milonga , Quartet Eveil ). From this unlikely fusion flows a disconcerting and incandescent magma. Screamed voices respond to rich and enjoyable baroque melodies, in a Scraamo environment assumed and up to the botist. As if the best thing that could happen to man, as Lacan said, was chaos. Cancel The Apocalypse is the original soundtrack of this post-chaotic environment where the human survived, with his dreams of democracy and scars. The band recorded and released its first album at the end of 2016, and began to shoot in France, Germany and Switzerland, notably opening for Hypno5e .
