Captain Everything
Biography
Captain Everything! we do everything by three: three members (Jon - bass and singing, Lewis - guitar and singing and Rich - Battery), three albums (and one split) and three labels: Hectic records, 20 deck and since 2002 House Hold Name records (and soon in Paris on December 03).
Since Capdown is no longer (really) on House Hold Name it's Captain Everything! to ensure the headline of the label's tours, rather flattering for a punk pop group on a essentially skapunk label!
Considered by punktastic as the new leading band of the English scene, the three little guys have a nice baggage: 1999: release of Music By Idiots in DIY and which is still worth a good Green Day, 2000: second album Learning to Play with (to be re-released by HHN in 2002), 2001: split Ep Make the love connection with Route 215, tours never end with Nerf Herder (whose sauce is about the same), Big D and the kids table, Frenzal Rhomb or Rx Bandits.
In 2004, their third album it's not rocket science released with the support of a Canadian and American distribution thanks to the label Union Label Group which allows them to appear on the Grind Tour for 4 weeks in the United States with Death By Stereo , Bigwig , Tsunami Bomb , Belvedere and Misconduct (nothing but that!).
A growing awareness (it must be said that few European bands, apart from the Swedish, have to make such large tours outside the Atlantic). Fans of Mxpx, Fat Wreck or Snuff will have found their perfect trio!
