
Cauldron
Biography
Formed in 2006, Cauldron is a Toronto Canadian Heavy Metal band. Mounted following the split of Goat Horn by bass singer Jason Decay, surrounded by Ian Chains (Guitare) and Al Artillery (Battery), the band released a 7" in the wake, but also changed drummer with the arrival of Al Chambers in 2007 for the release of the Into The Cauldron. New drummer change at the end of the year (a constant at Cauldron ) with Steel Rider and the release of the first opus, Chained To The Nite at Earache Records in 2009. Their Heavy / Speed Metal makes itself known internationally. It follows a split with Enforcer in 2010 and the recording of second album, Burning Fortune , with Chris Steve ( Skull Fist , Aggressor ) behind the drums, then the third, Tomorrow's Lost , with Chris Rite in 2012. This is the year when Cauldron seems to find a stable line-up, Myles Deck arrives at the drums and the Canadians released the ep Moonlight Desires in 2014 and a fourth album, In Ruin in 2016, signed this time by High Roller Records / The End Records. They continued with New Gods in 2018, which appeared at Dissonance Productions and The End Records. A cover album, Undercover Of Moonlight , with AC/DC titles , Razor , Witchfinder General , Manilla Road , Bathory , appeared in 2020.
