Ceremonial Snips began in August 1999 in Welland (The Rose City), province of Ontario, Canada. At the time a quintet and already with a brass section, they stage a number of local concerts and release 2 self-produced records (including The Skill To Kill EP in '03) during the galley years. Their first cake on a label is the EP Fuck the Pain, Bring the Noise published by Pink Skull Records in August '04. Now a sept, a Canadian tour of friendship with The Delegates (in hiatus) and they share a 7" split with them in March '05.
After a second tour and dates in their region they seriously focus on the composition of a CD they call Check Your Audio. At the end of December 2006 the album was released in self-production (the launch concert will take place alongside the friends of The Flatliners , Attack In Black etc.) before finding a taker at the Japanese label In N Out Records which took him to the land of the sun rising on February 21, 2007. Negotiations are underway with Union 2112 (Belvedere , Reset , Snitch , Captain Everything! etc.) with whom they sign in March for a release to Canada in late spring.
