Choochooshoeshoot

Choochooshoeshoot was born in November 2004 from the meeting of Philippe (former guitarist of Pig Iron , noise combo of the early 1990s), Thomas (beater) and Gildas (baritone guitar). Chrystelle joined the band to record a first demo in September 2006 by Thomas Lecorre ( Moller Plesset ) and a few first concerts followed. At the end of August 2007, the sound engineer Miguel Constantino (Fordamage , Passe Montagne , Paper Tiger ) records with them nine titles whose live and raw aspect of the recording is then refined by Bob Weston (Chicago Mastering Service). Choochooshoesshoot is a raw and direct rock inspired by Chicago School (The Jesus Lizard, Shellac, Big'N, Dazzling Killmen). Choose Your Own Romance is released in CD and LP by Kythibong in June 2008. The group, invited by Gentle Veincut , participated in September 2008 in the compilation of the label Whosbrain, published in CD. In September 2008, Chrystelle left the band to give way to Caroline (who now also operates on the microphone in the Patricia group). In 2009, Choochooshoeshoot participated, with many bands from the French noise scene, in the Fuckfest festival in Paris and then followed concerts in western and southern France. The band focused from 2010 on the composition of a new album, recorded in December 2011 again with Miguel Constantino in the live conditions in Quimper. The eight tracks of Playland , mixed and mastered by Miguel Constantino will be published in vinyl format in June 2012 by Kythibong, Rejuvenation and A Tant Rêver Du Roi. The group splits in 2013.
