Biography

Chrome Division is a Norwegian Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band founded in 2004 by Shagrath, the singer of Dimmu Borgir, his friend Lex Icon (The Kovenant) and bassist Björn Luna d-Ashes To Ashes. The result is a Dirty Rock, a roll that sometimes recalls Motörhead, very trendy motorcycles, alcohol and chicks in small outfits. In 2005 Lex decided to leave the band replaced by Minas Tirith's drummer, Tony White. In the winter of the same year, Chrome Division entered the Panzer Studios to record Doomsday Rock In the spring of 2008, Chrome Division returned to studio to record its second album Booze, Broads and Beelzebub. Nothing has changed in terms of style but the band recorded a recovery of Sharp Dressed Man from ZZ Top! Meanwhile, Chrome Division has become much more than a side-project for Shagrath and they have finally been able to give several concerts. Eddie was replaced by Shady Blue. His baptism of fire was made on the third album 3rd Round Knockout, which was released in 2011 still Nuclear Blast. After a 3 year pose, the Norwegians come back in 2014 in strength with a 4th album still in the spirit of Dirty Rock!
