Biography
Circles is an Australian rock band Metal Progressive founded in 2010 in Melbourne by guitarist Ted Furuhashi, drummer David Hunter and bassist Drew Patton. They were joined by singer Perry Kakridas and guitarist Matty Clarke, with whom they recorded the EP The Compass in 2011, which will be followed in 2013 by the first album, Infinitas , both on the label Basick Records. The young band then toured with Periphery , The Dillinger Escape Plan , Fear Factory or Ne Obliviscaris , in addition to participating in the Euroblast Festival in Germany and twice at the Progfest in Australia. In 2018, after a line-up change (the three founding members being accompanied by singer/guitarist Ben Rechter), Circles signed on the Season Of Mist label for the release of The Last One at the end of August. In October/November of the same year, the band undertook a European tour with Caligula's Horse .
