Biography
Daihei Ymanaka : singing, guitar Tomo Kamata : guitar, chorus Shuhei Dohi : guitar, chorus Syouta Enomoto : bass, chorus Kohichi : drums
In 1999 in Harujuku (Japan), Daihei, Tomo, Shota and Takuya (battery) then in high school formed Cleave starting with covers of NOFX, Dogwood and No Use For A Name. A few years later they wrote their own songs, released a first demo (2003) and Takuya left the band. He was replaced by Kohichi behind the drums and a third guitarist, Shuhei Dochi, joined the band in 2004.
In 2005 they released an EP split with Fuck the Forest (Sacramento, USA) in order to promote the tour on the West Coast of the United States that they carry out in August 2005. On returning to Japan they play as much as possible and write new songs that end up on their first EP Pay the Price For Love released in October 2006 on Caffeine Bomb Records. ( Faith , MFD , Neutral ...) Around this period they open to Japan for Champion , Killing the Dream ...
