Biography

Clinging To The Trees Of A Forest Fire was formed in 2006 in Denver. In the form of a trio, Zach Harlan (Basse), John P. Damron (Battery) and Ethan (Chant) quickly disgust their musical violence on a first ep, Harmony From Bleeding Mouths. Inspired by Grindcore/Deathgrind combos like Napalm Death or Rotten Sound, the band will also draw its ideas from the Chaotic Hardcore of Converge, Today Is The Day or His Hero Is Gone. Their first long format was released in 2008 at Debello Recordings, called Omega Drunk On The Blood Of Alpha, but it was especially in 2010 that Clinging To The Trees Of A Forest Fire took a new course by delivering Songs Of Ill Hope And Desperration, more successful, to Prosthetic Records. Two new sound attacks were launched in 2011 with the ep Visceral and the split with Nesseria.
