Coal Chamber is a metal band that will find success in full wave Neo Metal by offering ume music darker and a more or less gothic aura. The band started in 1994 and thanks to Dino Cazares (Fear Factory ) was noticed and signed on Roadrunner Records , Led by the rocky voice of Dez Fafara, the band surrounds itself with a rather creepy visual and a devastating look. They will influence a group tripote lacking inspiration and which will find in the rocky voice and extremely heavy sounds of the group a good source of inspiration. In 2002, Rayna Foss-Rose (Basse) left the group to become a mother, she was replaced by Nadja Puelen who had already held the bass during Rayna's pregnancy. The band released in 2002 Dark Days , third and certainly the most accomplished of all their albums. This album comes out in a strange climate, between rumors of split, engulfed and beating of the band. Rumor that will confirm one year later with the split of the group (drug problem, desire for change...).
